The J.D. SCHEDULE- FAULKNER LAW

Our traditional schedule of classes includes a full load of on-campus, daytime classes over three years. This 90 credit hour J.D. program is open to first-year, transfer, and visiting law students.

Throughout your first year at Faulkner Law, you will gain a solid grounding in our core curriculum. As a second-year student, you will begin to concentrate your studies along one of five pathways to practice based on your interests and professional ambitions:

REGULATORY & GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS

Equip yourself for a career in a heavily regulated industry such as healthcare, banking, or insurance, or prepare for public service as a government official or attorney.

BUSINESS AND NON-PROFIT LAW

Prepare to enter the corporate world as a transactional lawyer, in-house counsel, or attorney representing non-profits.

CRIMINAL LAW & PUBLIC INTEREST

Train to be the next great criminal defense lawyer, prosecutor, or public interest advocate.

LAW PRACTICE AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Learn how to open your own law firm or solo practice, or how to use your law degree in innovative ways, like starting a business venture.

ADVOCACY & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Develop your litigation and negotiation skills in an advanced practicum or in our award-winning advocacy program. On this path, you can go on to earn a joint J.D./LL.M. degree in three years.
