The strength of our academic program is based on the faculty scholars who come to Faulkner Law from diverse backgrounds. Our faculty members have received degrees from some of the most acclaimed law schools in the nation, including Emory University, Cornell University, Howard University, University of Chicago, University of Texas, University of Virginia, University of Alabama, Tulane University, Indiana University, and many more. Outside the classroom, many of our professors engage in research and writing, while others work with one of our three clinical programs and volunteer their time with moot court or trial advocacy competitions and law review.

Scholarships

Caldwell Wenzel & Asthana Personal Injury Lawyers Tort Law Scholarship

Award: $500, presented annually

Eligibility: Awarded to the Faulkner Law student who earns the highest grade in Tort Law. The recipient is selected by the law school based on academic performance. No application or essay is required.

About the Sponsor: Caldwell Wenzel & Asthana Personal Injury Lawyers is a personal injury law firm with offices in Birmingham, Mobile, and Foley, Alabama; Pensacola, Florida; and Jackson, Mississippi. The firm established this scholarship to recognize academic excellence in tort law and to support the next generation of Alabama attorneys. That interest comes directly from one of the firm’s founding partners, whose own legal education was made possible by scholarship support.
