Register with LSAC and take the LSAT (Law School Admissions Test).
- The LSAT is given nationally eight times each year: in August, September, October, November, January, February, April, and June. We suggest that you take the LSAT no later than January before the Fall in which you hope to enter law school.
- Most people find they require several months of study to fully prepare for taking the LSAT; please take this into consideration when you register for the test.
- An applicant’s highest score will be used to make admissions decisions; however, all scores received will be recorded in the applicant’s file.
- Faulkner Law will not accept an LSAT score that is five or more years old.
Submit your application through LSAC.
In addition to a bar examination, there are character, fitness, and other qualifications for admission to the bar in every U.S. jurisdiction. Applicants are encouraged to determine the requirements for any jurisdiction in which they intend to seek admission by contacting the jurisdiction. Addresses for all relevant agencies are available through the National Conference of Bar Examiners.
