Stephen M. Frisby, J.D., LL.M.

Stephen Frisby is an Associate Professor of Law at Faulkner University’s Thomas Goode Jones School of Law.

Before joining the faculty at Faulkner Law in 2024, Stephen served in several different roles as an attorney. In 2009, Stephen started his career as a Deputy District Attorney in Montgomery County, Alabama.

In 2011, Stephen served as a Staff Attorney on the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals. Stephen served in that role until 2017 when he joined the Alabama Attorney General’s Office as an Assistant Attorney General in the Capital Litigation Division.

In 2019, Stephen returned to the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals as a Senior Staff Attorney. Stephen served in that role until 2024 when joined the faculty at Faulkner Law.

Stephen lives in Montgomery with his wife, Kayla, and his four children. Stephen is a member of the Landmark church of Christ, where he serves as a deacon and is involved in the worship ministry.
