Law School Commencement
The Law School's Commencement is currently scheduled for

Each law school graduate will receive a limited number of tickets to distribute to family and friends. Pursuant to the MPAC's policies, all attendees MUST have a ticket to attend.
The event will be available via live-stream.

Law School Regalia
Graduating students shall wear regalia. Rental regalia orders were due on March 5, 2026. Graduating students order regalia directly from Jostens.
Regalia will be distributed to graduating students at the Graduation Fair on Friday, April 17, 2026.
Rental regalia will be returned immediately after the ceremony. Stop by the Jostens' table to return your rental regalia.
Appropriate Attire
For Men: Graduates: Regalia. Dark pants and light shirt with tie. Dark dress shoes. A suit jacket is not required as the robes are warm.
For Women: Graduates: Regalia. Dark pants, dress, or skirt. Dark closed-toe dress shoes. No flip-flops or sandals allowed.
For Guests: Business casual.
Hair Styles
Hair styles should be simplistic to allow caps to be worn flat on top of the head.
The tam's tassel should be worn on the left.
Adornments
Graduates are not permitted to wear adornments (awards/medallions/drapes/etc.) unless they are given to the graduate by a law school representative either at check in just prior to Commencement or during the ceremony.
Personal Belongings
Do not bring valuables (cameras/purses) with you to the line-up. The Law School is not responsible for valuables left behind while in the ceremony.
Photography
The Law School will have photographers available at graduation to take photos of the ceremony and of each graduate receiving his/her diploma. No independent professional photographers or videographers will be granted access to the ceremony. Guests may take candid photographs during the ceremony from their seats.
